１．解説：
１）on the condition thatとは
on the condition thatは、契約で規定する権利や義務に条件を付ける表現のひとつです。
on the condition that～は、～を条件としてと訳されます。（以下の例文①をご覧ください）
２）on the condition that（条件として）の関連表現
同じように、契約で規定する権利や義務に条件を付ける表現に、on condition that～があります。
on condition that～は、～の部分が満たされたときに法律的効果が生じる停止条件の表現です。
on condition that～は、～という条件で、～を条件にと訳されます。（以下の例文②をご覧ください）

１）on the condition that（～を条件として）– 例文①
保証に不履行がある場合、速やかな書面通知を条件として、 売主は不履行を是正するものとします。
If any failure to meet this warranty appears within 6 months from the date of completion of the Services, on the condition that Seller be promptly notified in writing thereof, Seller as its sole obligation for breach of this warranty will correct the failure by re-performing any defective portion of the Services furnished.
（訳）：
サービス完了から6か月以内に本保証に不履行があった場合、売主に書面で速やかに通知することを条件として、 売主は、本保証の違反に対する唯一の義務として、提供サービスの欠陥を再履行して、かかる不履行を是正するものとする。
（注）：
＊any failure to meet this warranty appearsは、any failure（～できない、～を怠る）と to meet this warranty（本保証を履行すること）とappears（発生する）で、本保証に不履行があった（場合）と訳しています。
＊thereofは、of that（それの）を意味しますが、thatの「サービス完了から6か月以内の本保証の不履行」は、明らかなので、訳は省いています。詳しくは、thereto, thereof, thereafter, thereby, thereinの意味と例文をご覧ください
＊as its sole obligationは、唯一の義務としてという意味です
＊correct the failureは、かかる不履行を是正すると訳しています。
２）on condition that（～という条件で、～を条件に）– 例文②
申立てが正当な場合、引渡した商品の返品を条件に、売主は、無料でその商品を交換するものとします。
If the claim is justified, the seller shall at his own discretion either pay a reasonable indemnity not exceeding the invoice value of the goods delivered that gave rise to the complaint, or shall replace the goods delivered without charge on condition that the goods originally delivered be returned.
（訳）：
申立てが正当である場合、売主は、その単独の裁量で、苦情を生じた納入品の請求額を超えない範囲で合理的な額の補償金を支払うか、又は最初に引渡した商品の返品を条件に、無料で、その引渡した商品を交換するものとする。
（注）：
＊the claim is justifiedは、申立てが正当であるという意味です。
＊at his own discretionは、（売主は）その単独の裁量でという意味です。詳しくは、at its optionとat its discretionの意味と例文をご覧ください。
＊a reasonable indemnityは、合理的な額の補償金という意味です。
＊gave rise to the complaintは、gave rise to（生じさせた）とthe complaint（苦情）で、苦情を生じた（商品）という意味です。
