１．解説：
１）workmanshipとは
workmanshipとは、通常、

のことを意味します。
英文契約書の保証条項で使われるときは、製品の仕様や設計とセットで記載されることが多いので、workmanshipを
製造技術とか製造面
と訳すやり方もあります。（次の使い方と例文をご覧ください）
２）workmanshipの使い方
workmanshipは、英文契約書のWarranty（保証条項）において、使われます。
以下のような使い方です。（青字部分）
『売主は、引渡し日から一定期間（たとえば１年間）は、製品がspecifications（仕様）に合致し、design（設計）、materials（材料）及びworkmanship（製造技術）において、欠陥がないことを保証する。』（下記の英文契約書の例文①と例文②をご覧ください）
以上のように、workmanship（製造技術）は、specifications（仕様）、design（設計）, materials（材料）と並んで、製品の保証のひとつを構成することになります。
したがって、たとえば１年間の保証期間で、製品のworkmanship（製造技術）に欠陥があった場合は、クレームの対象となることに、注意が必要です。
２．例文と基本表現：

１）workmanship（製造技術）– 例文①
販売店契約のWarranty（保証条項）からです。workmanshipは、製造面と訳しています。下線部のように、Specifications（仕様）、design（設計）、materials（材料）とセットで使われています。
Each Product purchased hereunder is warranted by Manufacturer to operate in conformity with its Specifications and be free from defects in design, materials, and workmanship, under normal use for a period of one (1) year following its date of delivery to DISTRIBUTOR at its Delivery Destination (the “Product Warranty”). The Product Warranty shall survive any expiration or termination of this Agreement, and any testing, inspection, delivery, payment, and acceptance of any Product by DISTRIBUTOR, and shall continue with respect to any unresolved warranty claim made by DISTRIBUTOR for any Product during its one (1) year warranty period.

本契約に基づき購入された各製品について、メーカーは、配送先の販売店への引渡し日から1年間、通常の使用方法において、その仕様に従って作動し、設計、材料および製造面において欠陥がないことを保証する。（以下、「製品保証」という）。 製品保証は、１年の保証期間においては、本契約の満了または終了並びに販売店による製品のテスト、検査、引き渡し、支払いおよび受入れ後も存続するものとし、販売店からの未解決の製品の保証請求についても継続する。

２）workmanship（製造技術）– 例文②
ライセンス契約のWarranty（保証条項）からです。workmanshipは、製造面と訳しています。下線部のように、design（設計）、materials（材料）とセットで使われています。
Licensee represents and warrants that the Products will be of good quality in design, material and workmanship and will be suitable for their intended purpose; that no deleterious, or toxic substances will be used in the Products; that the Products will not cause harm when used in a foreseeable manner; and that Licensee will, at its own expense, comply with all laws and regulations, including those relating to the operation of Licensee’s plants, the manufacture, sale and distribution of the Products, including the labeling thereof and including safety standards and testing of the Products, as may be required by applicable law.

ライセンシーは、以下の事を表明し保証する：製品が設計、材料及び製造面で良質であり、その意図した目的に適していること。製品内に有害物質及び毒性物質を使用しないこと。通常の方法で使用された場合、製品が害を及ぼさないこと。ライセンシーは、適用法令で要求される場合は、自社の費用で、ライセンシーの工場の稼働並びに製品の製造、販売、流通並びに製品のラベル表示並びに製品の安全基準及び試験を含み、すべての法令を遵守すること。
