１）dueとは
英文契約書のPayment Terms（代金支払条項）でよく使われる用語に、
due
があります。
通常、dueは、
（支払い）期限が到来する
という意味で使われます。（例文①をご覧ください）

１）due（期限が到来する）– 例文①
Payment Terms（代金支払条項）からです。支払いが遅延した場合、支払い発生から支払い日まで、所定の利息を負担しなければなりません。
Any late payment of an amount that is required to be paid under this Agreement shall bear simple interest from and including the date such payment is due under this provision until, but excluding, the date of payment, at a rate per annum equal to the rate announced by Bank as its “Base Rate”, plus two percent (2%).
（訳）：
本契約に基づき、支払いが必要な金額に遅延がある場合は、本条項に基づく支払い発生から支払い日（ただし支払い日を除く）まで、銀行が発表するレートを「基本レート」として、これに2％を加えた年利を単利計算で利息を負担するものとする。
（注）：
＊bear simple interestは、単利計算で利息を負担するという意味です。
＊from and including the date such payment is dueは、from and including the date（その日からとその日を含めて）とsuch payment is due（その支払い期限が到来する）で、支払い発生からと訳しています。

２）due date（期日）– 例文②
Payment Terms（代金支払条項）からです。期日以降に支払われた請求書は、所定の遅延損害金が発生します。
Any invoices paid after its due date shall accrue interest on a daily basis from the final day of payment until the date of actual payment and shall be calculated at a rate of 8% per year above Bank base rate which is current at the date payment became overdue.
（訳）：
期日以降に支払われた請求書は、支払の最終期日から実際の支払日まで、日次で遅延損害金が発生し、支払いが期限切れになった日現在の銀行の基本レートを上回る年率8％の割合で計算するものとする。
（注）：
＊its due dateは、（支払い）期日という意味です。

＊currentは、現在の、当日のという意味です。
＊payment became overdueは、支払いが期限切れになったという意味です。
３）payments due（支払金額）とtotal amount due（合計支払金額）– 例文③
Payment Terms（代金支払条項）からです。ベンダーは、サービス会社に合計支払金額について、所定額を４半期毎に支払い、残りの支払金額を最後の分として支払います。支払金額はすべて、サービス会社の請求書受領から30日以内の支払いです。
Vendor will pay one Hundred Thousand (100,000) US Dollars of the total amount due to Service Provider under this Agreement on Vendor’s fiscal year quarterly basis with any remainder amount due to be paid in the final payment. All payments by Vendor will be forwarded within 30 days of Vendor’s receipt of the Service Provider invoice during the Term of this Agreement until all payments due to Vendor have been made. Service Provider may submit its invoice on the first day of each calendar month which begins Vendor’s fiscal year quarter during the Term of this Agreement. Payment shall be considered a pre-payment for Services to be provided by Service Provider during that Vendor’s fiscal year quarter. All payments made by Vendor hereunder will be made by wire transfer to the bank.

ベンダーは、本契約に基づいてサービス会社に合計支払金額の内、10万（100,000）米ドルをベンダーの会計年度の４半期毎に支払い、残りの支払金額を最終の支払いで支払うものとする。 ベンダーが支払金額をすべて支払うまで、ベンダーのすべての支払いは、本契約の期間中、ベンダーがサービス会社の請求書を受領してから30日以内に行われるものとする。 サービス会社は、本契約の期間中、ベンダーの会計年度の四半期が始まる各暦月の初日に請求書を発行することができる。 支払いは、ベンダーの会計年度の四半期の間にサービス会社が提供するサービスの前払いと見なされる。 本契約に基づくベンダーのすべての支払いは、銀行経由の電信送金で行われるものとする。
