意味合い：

契約上の個々の「条項・条件（terms and conditions）」だけでなく、周りの環境や物の「状態」そのものを指す場合もあります。

用法：

1. （物の状態）: 引き渡し条項（Delivery Clause） 等で、商品が良好な「状態」にあることを指す。
2. （外部の環境）: 不可抗力条項（Force Majeure Clause） 等で、悪天候などの避けることができない「事情・状況」を指す。
