意味合い：
be deemed as と同様の「みなし」ですが、後ろに動詞を伴い、「〜という行為がなされたとみなす」といった、より動的な効力を規定する際によく使われます。
用法：
主に 通知条項（Notices Clause） や 契約期間条項（Term Clause） で使用されます。
- （到達タイミングのみなし）: 郵便投函から数日後に、法的に受領したとみなす。（例文１）
- （効力発生タイミングのみなし）: 契約が終了した時刻を、特定の日の営業終了時とみなす。（例文２）
例文1（通知条項：Notices Clause から）：
Any notice sent by certified mail shall be deemed to have been received five (5) business days after the date of mailing.
（訳） 書留郵便で送付された通知は、郵便が投函された日から5営業日後に受領されたものとみなされる。
例文2（契約期間条項：Term and Termination Clause から）：
The termination of this Agreement, following the required notice period, shall be deemed to have been effective upon the close of business on the stated termination date.
（訳） 所定の通知期間を経た本契約の終了は、指定された終了日の営業終了時刻をもって効力を生じるものとみなされる。
