１．解説：
１） subject toとは
subject to～は、契約に条件を付ける表現です。
～を条件として、～に従ってという意味です。
この表現が英文契約書で使われるときは、subject toの次に続いて記載される条件の部分が主題の前提や制約となるため、それが何なのか注意してみていく必要があります。
２） subject to ～を使った表現
subject to ～（ ～を条件として、～に従って ）は、以下のような表現形式で使われます：

２．例文と基本表現：

１）subject to – 例文①

（訳）：
本契約は、カリフォルニア州法に準拠し、同法に従って解釈されるものとする。

（訳）：

４）subject to – 例文④
subject to the provisions of ～（～の規定に従うことを条件として）の例文です。

（訳）：
本契約の規定に従って、いずれの当事者も、他方当事者の事前の書面による同意なしに、本契約に関連して取得した情報を直接的又は間接的に使用、公開、配布、又はその他の方法で開示することはできない。
