当事者が義務を履行するときに支払う費用は、費用を被る当事者が負担します。
Except as otherwise provided herein, all expenses incurred by each Party in performing its obligations hereunder shall be borne by the Party incurring the expense.
（訳）：
本契約に別段の定めがある場合を除き、本契約に基づく義務を履行する際に各当事者が負担するすべての費用については、費用を被る当事者が負担するものとする。

２）perform its obligations（義務を履行する）– 例文②
Force Majeure（不可抗力条項）からです。不可抗力により、当事者の一方が契約の義務を履行できず、3か月を超えて継続する場合、他方当事者は、通知して直ちに契約を解除できます。
If either Party is not able to perform its obligations under this Agreement due to a force majeure as described in Article 13, and such force majeure continues in effect for more than three (3) months, the other Party shall have the right to terminate this Agreement effective immediately upon written notice to the non-performing Party.
（訳）：
第13条に規定する不可抗力により、いずれかの当事者が本契約に基づく義務を履行できず、かかる不可抗力事由が3か月を超えて継続する場合、他方当事者は、不履行当事者に書面通知をして、直ちに本契約を解除する権利を有する。

3）perform its obligations（義務を履行する）– 例文③
Assignment（譲渡制限条項）からです。譲受人が契約に基づくライセンサーのすべての義務を履行することに同意すると、ライセンサーは、ライセンシーの同意なしに、契約の権利義務を第三者に譲渡できます。
Licensor shall have the right to assign this Agreement, and all of its rights and privileges hereunder to any Person without Licensee’s prior consent provided the assignee agrees to assume and thereafter perform all obligations of “Licensor” hereunder.
（訳）：
ライセンサーは、譲受人が本契約に基づく「ライセンサー」のすべての義務を引き受け、それ以降、履行することに同意することを条件に、ライセンシーの事前の同意なしに、本契約および本契約に基づくすべての権利と権限を、いずれの第三者に対しても譲渡する権利を有する。

４）the performance of its obligations（義務の履行）– 例文④
不可抗力の影響を受けた当事者は、影響が除去されるまで、義務の履行を停止できます。
Subject to the provisions of this Article 12, the prevented Party may suspend the performance of its obligations under this Agreement within the duration and scope of the influence of Force Majeure until such influence is removed, provided, however, that such Party shall make its best efforts to eliminate the barriers in performing this Agreement caused by Force Majeure and minimize the losses resulting from Force Majeure.
（訳）：
第12条の規定に従い、影響を受けた当事者は、不可抗力の影響の期間及び範囲内で、当該影響が取り除かれるまで、本契約に基づく義務の履行を一時停止することができる。 但し、不可抗力によって生ずる本契約の履行上の障害を排除し、不可抗力に起因する損失を最小限に抑える最善の努力を尽くすものとする。
