２．例文と基本表現：

１）free from（～がない）– 例文①
Warranty（保証条項）からです。製品に、①製造上の欠陥がないこと、②請求権の付着がないことを保証します。＊二つ目のfree fromは、担保権なので～の付着がないと訳しています。
The Company warrants that all Products shall (i) conform strictly to specifications of the Product and its packaging (including general specifications and quality requirements), descriptions, drawings, samples, and other requirements referred to which the Company and Purchaser otherwise agree, (ii) be free from defects in design, material and workmanship, and (iii) be free from all liens, encumbrances, and other claims against title.

＊conform strictly toは、conform to（～に合致する）とstrictly（厳密に）で、に厳密に合致するという意味です。
＊otherwiseは、その他の点ではという意味ですが、文脈から訳は省いています。
＊workmanshipは、（製品の）仕上がりという意味ですが、製造上と訳しています。
＊liens, encumbrances, and other claims against titleは、liens（留置権）と encumbrances（負担）とclaims（請求権）とtitle（所有権）の組み合わせで、留置権、負担および所有権に対するその他の請求権という意味です。
２）free from（～がない）– 例文②
No Warranty（非保証条項）からです。会社は、ソフトウェアが第三者の権利を侵害していないことを、表明保証しません。
The Software is provided “as is“. The Company specifically disclaims all warranties expressed or implied, including but not limited to, any warranty of design, or implied warranties of merchantability and fitness for a particular purpose with respect to the Software, operation of the Software, and any particular application or use of the Software, even if the Company has been informed of such purpose. The Company makes no warranties or representations, either express or implied, that the Software transferred hereunder is or will be free from infringement of any patent, copyright, or other rights of third parties. Licensee assumes the entire risk of using Software.

Representations and Warranties（表明保証条項）からです。売主は、商品が担保権の付着がない状態での引渡しを表明保証します。＊担保権なのでfree fromは、～の付着がないと訳しています。
Seller represents and warrants to Buyer that the title conveyed on all Goods produced pursuant to any Order will be good and marketable, its transfer rightful, and the Goods will be delivered free from any security interest or other lien or encumbrance.
（訳）：
